I'm a little concerned I'll run out of resources at the pace I'm going and currently expending with attacks. I wish I had a little more downtime than what's afforded but I'm having a blast. Every wave of enemies I need to be there buttressing the undefended portions of wall or kiting enemies to the defended portions. That game is not easy to just slip back into.

Went back to Riftbreaker after a 6 month hiatus. It felt like I was playing eShop for a week at least, afterwards I did beat several Kirby games though, so there's that!ĭefinitely play Quantum Break everyone, it's one of my favorite time travel stories in all of gaming and perhaps even media! I kind of want to try Moonglaw Bay from the leaving list as well. It's okay though.Īs I bought too many games when the Wii U/3DS eShop closed, I didn't get around to play through Signalis or Tunic yet, although I have played quite a few hours of Tunic and will definitely finish both of these games. Also finished A Memoir Blue, it was short but the narrative and the scenes didn't really hit me that hard. Chinatown Detective Agency is so cool on paper but I found the cases to be way too linear, there's no real player involvement necessary to solve stuff, and the UI navigation was super clunky as well. I played Dodgeball Academia pretty recently and just found it superior in every way, so I didn't bother with Kraken Academy any further. It didn't make me want to spend time in this world, unfortunately. Kraken Academy wants to be cool and edgy but it gives me very little idea why I'm even here, what is the purpose of this all etc. I felt both games were pretty flawed for different reasons. That's despite me absolutely loving Dodgeball Academia and Asian settings.

I could neither get into Kraken Academy nor Chinatown Detective Agency.
